The lonestar looks like a powerhouse, but its really not. – the gain stage is nice, but the sweeter tones are when its rolled off. – so its a much more pleasure amp that’s good for that laid back Sunday afternoon thing!.

Another personal amp of mine, and a modern twist of yesteryear, and also a lesson on HOW to do it correctly. – the amp is simply amazing at detail, try picking at different intervals and you get a different sound every time, the profiles really reflect this and is spot on! – the gain gets a bit flubby towards the sharp end, but its not designed for that anwyay!
