What you Get..

A Fantastic selection of amps this time around, some sparkling cleans and soaring blues tones, some quack and spank too. – and then there is the heavy side. some hard hitters in here that supply you not great rock tones but arena rock tones and no shortage on metal riffing either, whilst this pack is diverse, using the right guitar is important. – using a tele though a herbert is not ideal, however…. no rules, if it sounds good.. it is good!

What we recommend…

  • Strat/Tele for the low gain amps
  • Lespaul or Humbucker for the higher gain
  • Try Increasing the “Definition” for a brighter/tighter tone
  • Try decreasing the “Definition” for a darker/vintage/looser tone
  • These were created using reference monitors, so use EQ to taste to adjust to your needs
  • We literally recreated what we heard. so we needed to adjust the powersagging, you can disable this if needed.

The “how we did it” Bits…..

Before we capture amps, we play-test them first with various guitars in different styles, even put them through various stomps to see if we can gain any advantage in that area. (if so we use it) – With the tests complete, we can determine the best route to take, either to mic it up aggressively, Naturally

or even a laid back approach, what guitar works better, and if we need to use any additional tools to help us get there..

Each Amp set has various “stages” of profiles, from clean+variations, breakup+variations all the way through to max gain. – this gives you total control over the amps voicing characteristics, and lets you “correctly” choose the right amount of gain for your guitar, rather than artificially adding it afterthefact.. – assuming we got it correct, then the rest is pure ear candy!

This Pack will suit the following styles: (however there are no rules)

Blues/Country, Classic Rock/Rock, Jazz (modern), Funk/Soul/Clean, Hard Rock & Fusion, Metal

May sound best with a Tele style guitar (singecoils) for low gain, but use humbucker (and drop tuning) for heavy amps
