This amp was used by Brad Paisley at the o2 In London, as his personal amp to use, he chose this out of many others.. and for one good reason.. its a masterclass in Tone!..

This amp is stunning, from classic country twang, to classic rock.. NOT a high gain monster really, but it certainly speaks volumes!. and personally think your toolbox is NOT complete without this sound. – Tried to recreate the sound of a Dr.Z Z Wreck.

What we recommend…

  • Strat/Tele for the low gain
  • Lespaul or Humbucker for the higher gain
  • Try Increasing the “Definition” for a brighter/tighter tone
  • Try decreasing the “Definition” for a darker/vintage/looser tone
  • These were created using reference monitors, so use EQ to taste to adjust to your needs

What is customshop?

We take an amp that is worthy, versatile and unique. and profile it in a LOT more depth than standard profiles…Instead of us finding the right mics/sweetspot, we simply cover all areas, we use all mics (many) in different positions, so when it comes to using them, you can blend them together like you would in a real recording situation.

For example, you might prefer the beefy bottom end of a R121, but prefer the midrange bite of a 57. fine, record them (re-amp) however you want. – then blend them at mixdown. the possibilities here are endless and can pair with as many mics as we profiled.

Needless to say, these are mostly designed for studio use & recording.
